Modules

InCAM offers a range of modules to meet all your CAM tooling needs:

NC Tools
Drill Tool Manager
The Drill Tool Manager intelligently selects the correct drill bit and provides a complete suite of tools for drill tool customization. Taking full advantage of the system’s advanced graphic capabilities, the Drill Tool Manager lets you view the drill layer as a drill map, with markers indicating each hole type.

NC Manager
Use the NC Manager to combine drill and rout files and achieve the fastest throughput in the NC department. NC files can be split over different runs or different machines. Use predefined automation tools to define tool order and drill/rout sequence, board alignment on the machine and NC verification coupons. Use manual or automated tools to add pilot holes and custom nibbling of slots and large holes. Customize drill and rout output files to suit any type of machine on the production floor.

The Drill Path Optimizer reduces the time it takes for the NC drill machine to travel over the panel and switch from one tool size to another. In addition, the Drill Path Optimizer allows you to define a “cool spread” distance for dense areas of the board that contain multiple drills of equal tool sizes. When a drill tool operates repeatedly in a small area, the material may heat up, resulting in  inaccurate hole sizes. Defining a “cool spread” distance prevents the drilling of consecutive holes within a set distance from one another and ensures that the material cools down before the next hole is drilled.

Rout Editor
Create rout drawings from blueprint or customer data quickly and efficiently in the Rout Editor. With a complete set of flexible drawing tools to hand, you can accurately draw the path of any rout layer — however awkward or unusual — and avoid manual edits in the machine rout file after output.

Rout Layer Checks
Rout layer checks identify potential manufacturability defects in the rout layer and check chained rout layers and raw routing design data sent from the customer before any adjustments are made.
