GenFlex 1.7 contains new functionality that enables users to speed up parts of the Flex production flow. Additional CAD functionality allows GenFlex users to perform all required editing on one system, rather than having to use multiple CAD and CAM systems.

New features include:

·         Create Mask Layers - subtracting area layers with a defined margin from the profile, resulting in a new surface that defines the mask area.

·         Move / Move & Flatten features to nested step – enables adding features on the panel level, to ensure they do not overlap with other panel elements.

·         Convert solid line to dashed line - select lines and arcs on a layer, and convert them to dashed lines and arcs.

GenFlex 1.7 is structured to help manufacturers meet the special challenges of Flex production, including the ability to create designs that allow for material bending, and compensate for distortion of Flex material in the manufacturing process.
